Cleveland Tops Grants in Monday Night Marquee Match Up
RIO RANCHO, NEW MEXICO - The Cleveland Storm defeated the Grants Pirates Monday Night (58-56) at Sue V. Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho. The match up featured two top 10 ranked teams in New Mexico, Grants came into the contest with a 6-0 record and was ranked No. 2 overall in New Mexico, Cleveland entered 5-2 and ranked 9th overall in the NMPreps.com Top 25 Rankings. The Storm trailed at the half 31-28, but a strong second half surge helped them hand the Pirates their first loss of the season. Cleveland is now 6-2 on the year.
